Besser Kitchen & Brew Bar

Besser is a specialty coffee brew bar and cafe which focuses on great coffee, delicious food and friendly yet exceptional customer service. Besser opened in February 2016 in Darwin’s main industrial hub of Winnellie. Besser is our second home,  co-owners Lisa Heames and Adam and Danni Mann are also the trio behind Laneway Speciality Coffee in Parap.

As the name suggests, Besser Kitchen and Brew Bar pays tribute to the building’s industrial heritage, built from concrete Besser blocks. The guys employed, Vdesigned to help open up the space and create a place for locals to come together. The once corporate office is now filled with natural light, high ceilings and bespoke joinery with polished concrete and natural wood finishes. Shared communal dining is encouraged with long tables for large groups and families, while custom-made plywood seating caters for those dropping by for takeaway.
